It’s been quite awhile since I’ve done a top ten Tuesday! While I’m not sure if I’ll do it every week, I do have plans to sprinkle them in when the prompts speak to me.
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
Prompt: Most Recent Additions to My Book Collection
Last year I made quite the effort to lower the amount of books I buy. While I feel I was successful with that, quite a few books still got added to my collection thanks to TBR and Beyond Tours.
- Well Matched by Jen Deluca
- This was one of my most anticipated books for 2021. Unfortunately I put off buying it until I had money from Christmas so I just got it in the past two weeks. I’m very much still looking forward to this book.
- The Nutcracker by Alexandre Dumas
- Dance is life around my house. With both of my kids in dance classes, The Nutcracker has become a new favorite. We all saw it for the first time in the middle of December and since then I’ve been wanting to read it. I found a beautiful Barnes and Noble edition while buying Well Matched and knew it had to come home with me.
- Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco
- I bought this recently for myself with Christmas money! Very excited to continue this series after loving Kingdom of the Wicked so much!
- Lore Olympus Volume One by Rachel Smythe
- Another Christmas money purchase! I was so excited to find this and I ended up reading it on New Years Day and absolutely loved it!
- Girls of Storm and Shadow by Natasha Ngan
- I’m very much behind in finishing this series, which really bums me out because I absolutely loved Girls of Paper and Fire. I received this as a gift from a relative for Christmas.
- Girls of Fate and Fury by Natasha Ngan
- Like Girls of Storm and Shadow, I received this from a relative for Christmas. I’m very excited to finish this series and hopefully will do so this year.
- Anything but Fine by Tobias Madden
- I received this as a physical ARC from the publisher for a tour. I’m very excited for this one and can’t wait to read it soon.
- Game On edited by Laura Silverman
- I received a finished copy of Game On from the publisher for a tour. I’m very excited for this even though anthologies are not usually my favorite thing to read.
- Forward March by Skye Quinlan
- I received a physical ARC of this for a tour and I’m so excited for it! This sounds absolutely amazing and it’s on my list of things to read in February!
- A Shadow in the Ember by Jennifer L. Armentrout
- One of the very few books I bought for myself in 2021! As much as I was so hyped for it, I can’t believe I didn’t read it as soon as it was in my hands and still haven’t read it. It’s definitely a high priority for 2022.
What have you recently added to your collection?

Yes! Lore Olympus was so so good! I cannot wait for the next volume.
