It might be weeks late, but I’m here today with my wrap up for August. August was such a crazy month for me. I ended up going on an unexpected trip and then back to school happened and reading was definitely the last thing on my mind. While I did read quite a few books during the month, I didn’t read after the eighth of the month so I felt like I had a rather bad reading month.
In August, I read 16 books which equaled out to 4,726 pages. This equaled out to an average of 152.45 pages read each day. In the order in which I finished them, these are the books I read in August:
- Call Me Crazy by Melanie Harlow
- Tie Me Down by Melanie Harlow
- Irresistable by Melanie Harlow
- Undeniable by Melanie Harlow
- Reclaimed by Jaymin Eve
- Hate Tate by James
- Forbidden Fling by Kat Taylor
- Making Their Vows by Jessa Kane
- Step Stalker by Jessa Kane
- Just One Look by Lucy Darling
- Liar by Tate James
- Fake by Tate James
- Ace of Hearts by Ella Goode
- Daddy’s Angel by K.A. Knight
- Kate by Tate James
- To Break a Covenant by Alison Ames
Of the 16 books I read in August, 8 of them were part of a series (50%), 4 were standalones (25%), and 4 were a reread (25%).
When it comes down to intended audience for the books I read, 1 of them was a young adult book (6.3%) and 15 of them were adult books (93.7%).
Unsurprisingly, my ratings for this month were once again mostly four stars! I had 1 two star book, 3 three star books, and 12 four star books. I did not have any five star reads this month, but I definitely enjoyed my reread of the Madison Kate series by Tate James.
I’ve definitely forgotten about my goal to read more of what I own. This month it was mostly Kindle Unlimited books and I’m totally okay with that!
- Kindle Unlimited: 15 (93.7%)
- Other: 1 (6.3%)
Lastly, I like to look at genres.
- Contemporary: 14 (87.4%)
- Horror: 1 (6.3%)
- Paranormal: 1 (6.3%)
What did you read in August? What was your favorite book?
