September was by far a better month that August was! I felt like I had so much more time to read and I enjoyed a lot of what I was reading as well. I read a lot of smaller sized books so while it my best month so far when it comes to number of books read, the same can’t be said for number of pages read.

It might be weeks late, but I’m here today with my wrap up for August. August was such a crazy month for me. I ended up going on an unexpected trip and then back to school happened and reading was definitely the last thing on my mind. While I did read quite a few books during the month, I didn’t read after the eighth of the month so I felt like I had a rather bad reading month.

I went into July knowing it was a busy month for us and even knowing that, I had high hopes to read so many books. Those hopes were almost immediately crushed though. In actuality, I read a lot in the very beginning of the month and then again at the end of the month, but for most of July, I just didn’t read. Between the belated anniversary trip my husband and I took, both of the kids birthdays, and lots of projects I created for myself to get the kids ready for going back to school, I honestly didn’t feel like reading.

June is over and that means the year is officially half way over! I read a lot this month as a lot of things in my life finally calmed down. That has been quite a difference from the past few months.

May ended up being a very busy month for me! Between end of the school year for my kids and dance recital, I barely read for the last two weeks of May. Things have calmed down a lot though and I’ve been able to read quite a bit so far in June.

April ended up being so much crazier than I thought it was going to be. Early in the month, we woke up to our dog unable to use her back legs and we ended up at the vet a couple times and lots of medicine schedules to follow. Due to that, I didn’t blog the majority of the month and I also didn’t read quite as much as I have been.

Unlike January and February, March wasn’t the best month for me. A lot of health issues called for many doctors appointments which meant that even though I still read a lot, it didn’t feel like much to me. I also wasn’t able to blog very much which explains the lack of content during the month. Most of those issues have been resolved so I’m hoping for a calmer month in April and lots more content!
