September was by far a better month that August was! I felt like I had so much more time to read and I enjoyed a lot of what I was reading as well. I read a lot of smaller sized books so while it my best month so far when it comes to number of books read, the same can’t be said for number of pages read.

Of the 57 books I read in September, 48 of them were part of a series (84.2%), 5 were standalones (8.8%), and 4 were a reread (7%).

When it comes down to intended audience for the books I read, 1 of them was a middle grade book (1.8%), 2 of them were young adult books (3.5%) and 54 of them were adult books (94.7%).

Surprisingly, I had more three star reads during this month compared to what I usually have as my majority! I had 7 two star book, 27 three star books, 21 four star books, and 2 five star books. Of my five star reads, my absolute favorites of the month was Lakesedge by Lyndall Clipstone.

I’ve still decided that my goal to read more of what I already owned is something I’m not worrying about this year, but I still like to look at where the books I’m reading are coming from.

  • Library Digital: 2 (3.5%)
  • Other: 1 (1.8%)
  • Edelweiss: 1 (1.8%)
  • Kindle Unlimited: 53 (93%)

Lastly, I like to look at genres.

  • Contemporary: 47 (82.5%)
  • Fantasy: 2 (3.5%)
  • Paranormal: 8 (14%)

What did you read in September? What was your favorite book?
