Of the 49 books I read in June, 31 of them were part of a series (63.3%), 9 were standalones (18.4%), and 9 were a reread (18.4%).
When it comes down to intended audience for the books I read, 10 of them were young adult books (20.4%) and 39 of them were adult books (79.6%).
My ratings for June were mostly four stars like it has been. I had 2 two star book, 10 three star books, 30 four star books, and 7 five star books. Of my five star reads, my absolute favorites of the month was Like a Love Song by Gabriela Martins.
While it was a goal of mine this year to read more of what I already owned, I think that is definitely not going to happen. I’ve come to realize that I don’t love young adult books the way I used to. I’m enjoying what I’m reading and in the end that’s all that matters. I may not be pushing to reading what I own, but I still want to look at where I sourced the books from!
- Owned Physical: 5 (10.2%)
- Owned Digital: 2 (4.1%)
- Netgalley: 1 (2%)
- Edelweiss: 5 (10.2%)
- Library Digital: 1 (2%)
- Scribd: 2 (4.1%)
- Kindle Unlimited: 33 (67.3%)
Lastly, I like to look at genres.
- Contemporary: 37 (75.5%)
- Fantasy: 2 (4.1%)
- Mystery/Thriller: 1 (2%)
- Paranormal: 9 (18.4%)
