This post is a little belated, but I still wanted to post it because I absolutely love looking back at my numbers and statistics each year.
In the first half of 2021, I read 219 books which equaled out to 78,0308 pages. This equaled out to an average of 440.84 pages read each day. For this wrap up, I won’t be listing all the books I’ve read over the last three months, but if you’d like to see exactly what I read in January, February, March, April, May, or June you can click on any of those months and see the list of what I read!
Of the 219 books I read in the first half of 2021, 149 of them were part of a series (68%), 37 were standalones (16.9%), and 33 were a reread (15.1%).
When it comes down to intended audience for the books I read, 40 of them were young adult books (18.3%), 14 of them were middle grade books (6.4%), and 165 of them were adult books (75.3%).
My ratings for this half of the year were as follows: I had 2 two star books, 37 three star books, 144 four star books, and 35 five star books. My favorite books of the first quarter were: The Crown of Gilded Bones by Jennifer L. Armentrout and Like a Love Song by Gabriele Martins.
I’ve definitely been taking advantage of Kindle Unlimited this year. This is a service that I really love and have always read from, but this year it’s definitely been the source for the majority of the books I’ve been reading.
