It’s time for another quarterly check in! This check in will look at my reading over July, August, and September. This wasn’t my greatest quarter of the year, but I enjoyed a lot of what I read and to me, that matters more.
In these three months of 2021, I read 90 books which equaled out to 22,586 pages. This equaled out to an average of 245.5 pages read each day. For this wrap up, I won’t be listing all the books I’ve read over the last three months, but if you’d like to see exactly what I read in July, August, or September, you can click on any of those months and see the list of what I read!
Of the 89 books I read in July, August and September, 72 of them were part of a series (80%), 10 were standalones (11.1%), and 8 were a reread (8.9%).
When it comes down to intended audience for the books I read, 1 of them was a middle grade book (1.1%), 3 of them were young adult books (3.3%), and 86 of them were adult books (95.6%).
My ratings for these months were as follows: I had 8 two star books, 31 three star books, 49 four star books, and 2 five star books. My favorite books of this quarter were Neon Gods by Katee Robert and Lakesedge by Lyndall Clipstone.
Lastly, I like to look at genres.
